Statistics: Russia’s platinum output rises 1.6% in May

MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s output of unrefined and semi-refined or powder platinum increased 1.6% on the year and 3% on the month in May, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Wednesday without disclosing absolute figures.

Silver output increased 11.9% on the year and rose 12.8% on the month in May.

In January–May, output of platinum grew 4.4% on the year and of silver rose 16.9% on the year.
